Fix Marvel Rivals No Sound on PC
It is incredibly frustrating when you load into a match and realize your game is completely silent. Most of the time, this happens because Windows is routing your game audio to the wrong device or the game volume has been muted in the mixer.
Why this happens
Windows often struggles to hand off audio output when a game launches, or the system mixer might have the game volume turned down to zero. Resetting your audio routing usually forces the game to recognize the correct speakers or headset.
Steps
-
01Right-click the speaker icon in your system tray and select Open volume mixer.
-
02Locate Marvel Rivals in the list and ensure it is not muted and the volume is set to 100.
-
03If you are in a match, turn your headset off, wait two seconds, and turn it back on to reset the connection.
-
04Right-click the speaker icon, select Sound settings, then More sound settings.
-
05Right-click your audio device, select Properties, go to the Spatial sound tab, and set it to Off.
-
06In the same sound settings window, right-click your device and select Set as Default Device, then repeat to select Set as Default Communication Device.
-
07Close the game completely from the taskbar and restart it.
-
08For Steam users, go to your Library, right-click Marvel Rivals, select Properties, click Installed Files, and select Verify integrity of game files.
