Fix Discord Camera Not Working - Quick Troubleshooting

You click to join a call, but all you see is a black screen where your face should be. Usually, this happens because Windows is blocking Discord's access to your hardware or your video device isn't selected correctly within the app settings.

Most camera issues stem from outdated drivers, restricted system privacy permissions, or Discord defaulting to a virtual camera driver instead of your physical webcam.

   Search for Camera privacy settings in the Start menu and ensure Let apps access your camera is turned on.
