Fix Gamble With Your Friends Won't Start - Game Launch Issues

It is frustrating when you are ready to play and the game refuses to launch, stays on the loading screen, or crashes the moment you click play. Often, this happens because background processes have become hung or your installation files have become corrupted.

Why this happens

Ghost processes can remain in memory after a previous crash, preventing the game from launching again. If that is not the case, a corrupted local configuration file or missing permission is usually to blame.

Steps

   Right-click your taskbar and select Task Manager.

   Type game into the search bar at the top to find any instances of the game still running.

   Right-click each result and select End Task.

   Open Steam, right-click Gamble With Your Friends, select Manage, and then Browse local files.

   Right-click the game's .exe file, select Run as administrator, and click Yes on the permission prompt.

   If it still won't launch, go back to the Steam folder, navigate to the parent common folder, and manually delete the Gamble with Your Friends folder.

   In Steam, right-click the game, select Manage, and uninstall it.

   Perform a fresh install by clicking the Install button in Steam.
