Overwatch How To Change Your Crosshair
You are staring at the default Overwatch crosshair and it just isn't working for your aim. Blizzard hides the real customization settings deep inside the Hero tab, so it is normal to feel like they just aren't there.
Why the settings hide
Overwatch separates gameplay settings from video settings by placing crosshair configurations under the 'Hero' tab rather than the main menu.
Steps
-
01Press the
Esckey to open your menu and selectOptions. -
02Click the
Herotab located at the top of your screen. -
03Scroll down the list until you reach the
Reticlesection. -

Still not working?
If your crosshair feels inconsistent, check if you have inadvertently set a 'Hero-Specific' reticle. Go to the top right of the Hero tab and ensure you are editing All Heroes unless you intended to set a custom one for a specific character.
Frequently asked questions
Will changing these settings affect my aim sensitivity?
No, the reticle settings are purely visual and do not change your mouse sensitivity or how your character moves.
Can I save different crosshairs for different characters?
Yes, you can select specific heroes from the drop-down menu in the Hero tab to apply unique crosshair settings that override your default setup.
